Welcome to Kate Sullivan Elementary School!
It is an incredible honor to serve as the principal of one of Tallahassee's most cherished schools. Since 1948, Kate Sullivan has been a place where children are known, families are valued, and lifelong memories are made. As we honor that proud tradition, we are equally excited about the future we are building together.
At Kate Sullivan, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, challenged, and inspired every day. Our dedicated teachers and staff work together to create engaging learning experiences that help students grow academically while developing confidence, character, and a love of learning. We are committed to using research-based instructional practices, strong relationships, and high expectations to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.
One of our greatest strengths is our community. We know that educating children is a partnership, and we value the trust our families place in us each day. By working together with parents, caregivers, volunteers, and community partners, we create an environment where students can thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
This year, our theme is "Ready. Set. Learn!" It reflects our commitment to creating momentum for every learner, celebrating growth, and helping students discover that learning is an exciting journey filled with opportunities to explore, achieve, and succeed.
Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the first time, I hope you immediately feel the warmth, pride, and sense of belonging that make Kate Sullivan so special. Registration is straightforward and can be done online or in person at the school office. Required documents include proof of residence, birth certificate, and immunization records.
